Paris Hilton - House of wax

Paris Hilton'’s first credited film role, House of Wax is a a remake of Andre de Toth's 1953 gothic classic.

Six friends stumble upon an abandoned small town and fall prey to two murderous twins. They discover that the twins have expanded the local museum by slaughtering visitors and coating them with wax. The gang must find a way out before they too become permanent exhibits.

With no expression, not the slightest effort to convey the sinister and the macabre, the whole film is a thin, one-dimensional affair, hardly classifiable as horror. House Of Wax adds nothing to the already saturated teen slasher genre which began with the formidable Scream (1996).
